Eligibility

Who should request

The standard is aimed at European enterprises and scale-ups operating one or more autonomous AI agents in production, or preparing to move an agent from pilot to production inside the next twelve months.

  • Enterprises with at least one agent acting inside regulated workflows
  • Scale-ups whose counterparties are beginning to require AI assurance evidence
  • Operators preparing for the EU AI Act high risk obligations
  • Vendors whose customers are asking for an AI readiness artefact
  • Insurers seeking a consistent underwriting input for their agent exposed book
Preparation

What to prepare

Assessments move faster when the following materials are collated in advance. None of them are required at the moment of requesting, but all are required before the evidence file can be opened.

  • A short written description of the agent, its owners, its tools and its deployment scope
  • Current governance policy or AI risk policy, if one exists
  • Technical architecture diagram showing the agent inside the wider system
  • Incident, drill and red team history, if any
  • Autonomy policy, even if draft, specifying what the agent may do without human confirmation
  • Contact details for the accountable senior owner
Process

From intake to registered certification

Five steps, typically running four to six weeks end to end. Step one is self service. Step five produces a public registry entry if requested.

  1. Request

Submit the intake request on this page. The registry responds within five working days with a scoping note and an evidence file template.

  2. Scoping

A working session to agree which agent is in scope, which dimensions need the most attention, and what evidence already exists.

  3. Evidence

The operator submits the evidence file. Assessors review each dimension, conduct interviews where required, and draft the score.

  4. Review

The draft score is shared with the operator. Any disputed ratings are revisited with new evidence before the score is finalised.

  5. Certification

The final score, tier and validity date are registered. A formal certification record is issued, with or without public listing.

Intake Form

Submit your request

The form opens an intake record. A member of the registry will respond within five working days. All requests are treated confidentially until the operator consents to public listing.

Intake request

Please complete every field. Fields marked with an asterisk are required for the registry to open an intake record.

By submitting you consent to the registry opening an intake record and contacting the named person above. No public listing without your consent.

Email Fallback

Operators who prefer not to use the form may write directly to assessments@agentcertified.eu with the same information. The registry treats email requests with the same priority as form submissions.

Timeline Note

Q3 2026 assessment slots are limited and allocated in order of confirmed intake. Operators targeting a specific board or insurer deadline are encouraged to request at least eight weeks before the required date.
